Patient Care Practices & Policies

Policy

Patient care practices and procedures will be supported by written policies that are established by a group of professional personnel associated with the facility. These policies will govern the outpatient physical, occupational and speech pathology services that we provide.

Patient care practices will be developed by the “Core Team” which consists of the OPT Administrator and a qualified professional representing each rehabilitation service provided by the facility.

Patient care policies will be reviewed at least annually and revised whenever necessary based on the results of this evaluation.  All staff will be made aware of current policies, practices and procedures through initial orientation, annual updates and interim notifications when necessary.
