Emergency Care Procedures
Policy
LifeCare’s emergency management practices will be supported by written policies that are kept current. At a minimum, these policies will include procedures to cover immediate care of the patient, persons to be notified and reports to be prepared in the event of an emergency involving a patient, staff member, or visitor. Policies will be maintained in writing, be available to all personnel, and be updated and/or revised as appropriate. All staff will be made aware of current policies, practices, and procedures through initial orientation, annual updates, and interim notifications when necessary.
