Physical Therapy Staffing
Policy
Physical therapy services will be provided by, or under the direction, of a qualified Physical Therapist. The number of therapists retained will be appropriate to ensure that patient needs are met through adequate staffing. Recruitment will be limited to qualified therapists as defined by regulatory criteria.
During operating hours, a licensed therapist must be onsite or accessible by telecommunications.

Standard
15-E-9 Physical therapy services are provided by, or under the supervision of, a qualified physical therapist. The number of qualified physical therapists and qualified physical therapist assistants is adequate for the volume and diversity of physical therapy services offered. A qualified physical therapist is on the premises or readily available during the operating hours of the organization. 485.713(c) Standard
